LesbianRealEstate.com was developed in 2004 after the parent company Hammerberg and Associates, Inc were able to secure the domain name and rights. Hammerberg and Associates, Inc. is a licensed Colorado brokerage and has operated in the real estate business since the early 1980’s. Today they own and operate the Nations Largest and Most Successful group of on-line Real Estate Companies geared specifically to the Gay and Lesbian Community: www.gayrealestate.com , www.homelounge.com , www.lesbianhomes.com , www.gayrealestateplanet.com , www.gaymortgageloans.com and of course the newest to the group www.lesbianrealestate.com .
This group of gay owned and operated real estate companies commands 30,000 to 75,000+ unique visitors to it’s web sites monthly at the time of this writing.

Do I have to be Gay to join as a Referral Realtor on your site?
Absolutely not - We advertise our site as the “largest database of gay, lesbian and gay friendly realtors on the planet” about 30-40% of our referral agents are Gay Friendly, not gay.

How many referrals can I expect?
Guessing at how many referrals you can expect is almost impossible. It really depends on how large a gay community your city has. How much does this program cost?
To be listed in our database and receive referrals from lesbianrealestate.com the fee is $19.95 per month. If someone searches the database for a realtor in your state and city, your listing would appear and the potential buyer or seller would click on a link to contact you. The lead goes to you and us at the same time. We do this to ensure quality response for our potential clients and also so that we may track the business with you to closing, where a 25% referral fee is collected and paid to us.
As a second option, you may choose to “own” your city for $99.00 per month and be the ONLY realtor to be in the database for your city. In addition to being the only Realtor option for buyers and sellers that we offer, we also guarantee you receive the leads from all our other sites: homelounge.com (our #1 referral site), gayrealestate.com, lesbianhomes.com, gayrealestateplanet.com and gaymortgageloans.com.
This gives you a great advantage in having the opportunity to “own” the gay real estate business in your city – period. All of our advertising in print, on-line, television, press releases and various other sponsorships would benefit you directly, we’d also get you set up with your own name.com e-mail address!
It should be noted that 21 Cities sold at the $99.00 per month level the first week that lesbianrealestate.com launched. Many of the cities that were purchased, were purchased by agents that know the value of our relationship and have closed multiple deals for us over the last several years, this should be a great indication of how solid our program is and how successful the model has become.

Why do I have to pay a monthly fee and a referral fee?
It’s a great question – the answer is simple. Our “average” cost to promote JUST our on-line companies and keep them in the top positions has averaged $200.00 to $300.00 PER DAY, in 2004.
The monthly fees we collect will help us provide the guarantee to you that we can remain in these top positions and most importantly provide you with lots of great quality leads.
Listen – I’m a broker in Denver, CO and I understand the costs of doing business, I know the monthly fee and 25% referral fee may seem like allot, my comment to you is this - Most of the Large National Relocation companies have been charging a 35% referral fee for a few years now and there are some that charge higher – I think it’s unfair. Another model is a company like Homegain which charges multiple agents in every market a monthly fee (I think 29.95 but it may have gone up) and send the same lead to MULTIPLE agents to “compete” for the listing or buyer. The chances of a real deal (I know I’m a past subscriber) are absolutely slim to NONE. (I’m not bad mouthing Homegain or saying they’re a bad company, they’re obviously making a ton of money and helping to align sellers and buyers with agents) How about the company that wants to sell you a “zip code” for $500.00 a month.
They have all been excellent examples for us as to how we DON’T want to conduct business, we believe our model is fair to the Agent and has the highest probability of providing a real deal and real closing to our subscriber – You.

How long is my commitment?
A standard listing is billed monthly and can be cancelled with a 30 day notice, as a premium agent you pay for 6 months in advance and are automatically billed ever 6 months for your listing fee. We highly recommend that if you make the choice to join us you do so and commit for at least 12 months, with the ebb and flow of the real estate market depending on the time of year… so goes the leads coming to you.
Over a period of 12 months we’re sure you’ll see the real value in our partnership.
